Mon Panier Mignon

This was on the 1st of December... Our first fair! And it went amazingly well! Our stand was the busiest one! He He! Amazing team for an Amazing day!

From 2-3 sandwiches a day to 50 a day now! A lot of work! Almost like a mini sandwich factory!

TADAAAAAAAAAAM! That's the money we took on our very first day! a lot of pounds! I think that its very good for a first day without any marketing done apart from the neighbours night... But its hard to say how things are gonna go in the future... Tomorrow is Monday and I am a bit scared as I dont know what to expect... busy not busy?

Yayyyyyyyyyyyye!

Finally we opened today! But I'm exausted! We stayed last night in the shop until 5am, putting the prices on the shelves, the products on the shelves, the products in the till, cleaning... well the last bits and pieces... And we had to be at the shop at 8am for the opening, so if you are good in maths, I had 2 hours sleep and had to cope with a 12 hours shift today! However it was worth it! many people came to the shop, many curious people, friends and the neighbours...

Yaaaaye!

So, as I was saying in the last post, we had a small opening party which was a success! We invited 20 to 25 neighbours and friends and 40 people turned up!! The shop was almost full! The party started at 6pm, we had a little speech around 6:30pm, presenting the shop and the products to the "potential" customers. We offered them wine and snacks such as Italian salami, olives, pesto, marinated artichokes and garlic, bread and so much more... And I think that everybody really enjoyed it!





If you look closely at the pictures, you can see a few baskets full of pasta or biscuits hanging from the racks that are on the ceiling...

Anyways, we had a really good time, even thought we were all reaaaaly tired... and the wine did not help! We had a really good feedback from the neighbours and hopefully it will be a success!

The shop will open on Friday as some of the stock did not arrive yet and to be honest we are not really ready! So it's gonna be another long day tomorrow!
